Richard "Dick" L. Click, born on December 7, 1931, in Bloomington, Illinois, passed away peacefully on November 15, 2024, in Surprise, Arizona. He was a beloved husband, brother, uncle, and friend with a vibrant spirit and zest for life and will be deeply missed.

Dick proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1952 to 1954, a period during which he fought bravely in Korea. His commitment to country remained a source of pride throughout his life. After his military service, he found joy in bowling, dedicating many years to this passion. Dick participated in several bowling leagues and traveled extensively for tournaments across the nation. His remarkable skill on the lanes earned him a place in the Pat Harkins Bowling Hall of Fame in Bloomington, highlighted by not just numerous tournaments but also several impressive 300 games, including a string of 21 consecutive strikes.

In addition to his love for bowling, Dick was an avid golfer who enjoyed spending time on the golf course and closely following the PGA tours. His enthusiasm for sports, both as a participant and a fan, reflected his joyful nature and his ability to engage with the world around him.

He is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn Thompson Click; his sister, Jean Taylor; and six cherished nieces and nephews, all of whom will carry forward his legacy of kindness, passion, and dedication.

Dick is preceded in death by his parents, Grant and Helen (Fitzwater) Click; his sister, Margaret Dodson; and his brother, William Click. Their memories will be held dear in the hearts of all who knew him.

A memorial service honoring Dick's life will be held at Menke Funeral & Cremation Center in Sun City, Arizona, on December 17, 2024, beginning at 11:00 AM, followed by a gathering of family and friends to celebrate the remarkable life he lived.
