Richard L. DiLucia on August 10, 2023 of Holiday City in Williamstown, formerly of Philadelphia. Age 84.
Devoted husband of the late Anna Marie (nee. Kucharski). Loving father of Alice Pollag (Rick), Richard DiLucia (Paula), Joe DiLucia (Tracy), and ReRe Devine (John). Pop Pop to Kristen (Seth), Erik, Marc, Laura, and Taylor. Brother to the late Vincent DiLucia. Richard is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Richard "Big Guy" DiLucia was the former Mayor of Monroe Township. He was also the President of the Westinghouse Union and Vice President of 1199C Hospital Workers. Rich coached football for many years at St. Barnabas, St. John Neumann, Roman Catholic, St. Augustine, and the South Jersey Wildcats. In his spare time he loved to go to the racetrack to watch the horse races, he was an avid Philly sports fan and spending time with his family.
There will be a visitation on Wednesday, August 16th from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE. A memorial service will immediately follow. Internment to follow at All Saints Cemetery, Newfield.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Richard's name to the American Heart Association, PO Box 840692, Dallas TX 75284, www.heart.org
