My husband Phil and I remember Richard fondly, especially for the elaborate parties he and Judith hosted over the years. He sent me annual birthday greetings long after our professional association ended, and it was always fun running into him at conferences. He was indeed a generous and fun friend, and we'll remember him.

I met Duke in the Belle Starr bar. Honestly, the attraction was immediate. I remember his blue eyes sparkling and his white teeth. I think the only time we have ever been apart was for 3 weeks early on, otherwise we were attached at the hip for 38 years. He was my soulmate and I had to convince him I was his. LOL He finally gave in. He was very generous and kind. He loved his family and friends. I will miss him with all of my heart and forever.
