Richard "Rick" Finck, 78, of Louisville, KY passed away on August 12, 2025, at home with family.

Born in Louisville on October 16th, 1946, Richard spent most of his days in the Germantown area. He served in both the Army and National Guard. In addition to retiring from the National Guard, Richard retired from roles at Dynacraft and JCPS. In these positions, Richard was recognized with numerous awards that reflected his dedication, reliability and strong work ethic. While personally, he collected awards for his perfectly polished street rods and even his dance skills!

Richard enjoyed spending time watching the Kentucky Wildcats, working on his vehicles, dancing, "piddling around" car shows, and caring for his beloved dog Prince. Richard shared Prince with the love of his life Marilyn Howard, who he now joins to dance with once again, in eternal rest.

Richard is preceded in death by; His brother Dennis Finck, parents Alvin & Mary Finck, and survived by his Daughter Angela Derham (Bill), Son Rich Finck, Granddaughter Emma, Step-Daughter Lenae Kavanaugh (Kenny), and Grandson Jaylan Kavanaugh (Hayley).

A memorial visitation will be held from 4 PM - 6 PM on Wednesday, August 20th 2025 at Bosse Funeral Home (1355 Ellison at Barret Ave.), with service beginning at 6 PM.

Following the service, a Celebration of Life will be held at Frankfort Avenue Liquors (2115 Frankfort Ave) from 7 PM on.
