Richard Eugene Fisher, Jr. age 61, of Riverdale passed away Friday, May 2, 2025, at MyMichigan Medical Center in Alma. He was born July 17, 1963, in Carson City, Michigan the son of Richard and Boneta (Underwood) Fisher, Sr. He married Christine Curtis on July 19, 1991.
Richard worked in construction as a framer for many years. There was rarely something he couldn't fix and enjoyed working on appliances and vehicles.
Richard enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, mushrooming and mud bogs. His greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Richard is survived by his wife, Christine; sons Richard (Dawn Harvey) Fisher, III, Eric Fisher; stepchildren Amber Jewell, Donald Bissett; grandchildren Kaylynn (Nathan) Watson, Mylie Fisher, Jaelee Fisher, Jayden Fisher, Mateo Fisher, Jaykob Jewell, Jase Jewell; siblings, Robert, Fitz, Steve, James Fisher, Brenda Garcia, Ralph Honeycut; and his best friend Pat Huddleston.
He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings Susan Baur, Mary Prestage, Tommy Honeycut, Wayne McAlister; and his beloved canine Scrappy.
Per Richard's wishes cremation has taken place with a celebration of life to be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Lux and Schnepp Funeral Home, Riverdale.
