Richard Walter Frasier, 77, of Lake Geneva, Wisconsin passed away August 13, 2025, at Arbor View Assisted Living and Memory Care in Burlington, Wisconsin.

Born in Ticonderoga, NY on January 22, 1948, Dick was the son of Clifford and Mary Frasier of Hague.

After his high school graduation from Hague Central, Dick enlisted in the US Army during the Vietnam War where he was stationed in South Korea and Thailand. Achieving the rank of Sergeant, Dick served as a Tank Repair Supervisor. A proud veteran, Dick was the recipient of the Vietnam Service Medal, as well as the Armed Forces Expeditionary, the National Defense Service, the Vietnam Campaign, the Good Conduct, and the Army Commendation Medals.

When he returned home from the service, Dick took advantage of the GI Bill to attend Adirondack Community College followed by the University of North Carolina, Pembroke, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Business in 1974. He returned to upstate New York and worked for many years as a Certified Public Accountant for Edwards, Williams, McManus, & Ricciardelli CPAs in Queensbury, NY, as well as partnered in the accounting firm of TM Byxbee, in Albany, NY where he retired in 2008. He consulted until 2013.

Dick was active in the community and was proud to serve as chair of his local American Red Cross chapter where he met his wife, Betty. An avid hiker, and past member of the Adirondack Mountain Club, Dick could often be found on the trails in all kinds of terrain with his loyal dogs. Dick and Betty loved to travel especially enjoying their trips to Europe and discovering sites during their many trips throughout the United States. In their retirement, Dick and Betty resided in Saratoga Springs, New York and Scottsdale, Arizona before moving to Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.

Dick is survived by Betty (Ridder) and her daughter Megan Smith and her grandsons Spencer and Logan. He is also survived by his son Christopher (Elizabeth) and granddaughters Grace and Sydney as well as his sisters Bertha Dunsmore, Edna (Dick), Bonnie, Eileen, Jane (David) Connelly and brothers William (Louise), Peter (Janette) and Ernest. He will also be missed by his brothers and sisters-in-law as well as many nieces and nephews.

His family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks for the care he received from health care providers at the Madison, Wisconsin VA as well as those who cared for him at Arbor View and Moments Hospice.
