Maureen Mulholland Frasier

August 12, 1956 - August 17, 2025

WHITEHALL, NY - Maureen Mulholland Frasier passed away peacefully at her home Sunday, August 17, after bravely battling cancer for several months.

Born December 12, 1956, Maureen was a lifelong resident of Whitehall who loved her family and her community.

She will always be remembered for her quick wit and her kindness, often showing love by sharing her wonderful culinary creations, demonstrating the skills she acquired at Skene Manor, the restaurant owned by her family, and then sharing her cooking talents at several other area establishments.

Maureen was a longtime employee of Sherwood Medical Company in Argyle, where many of her colleagues became her lifelong friends.

She is survived by James "Jimmy" Frasier, her beloved husband of 32 years, and their fur baby, Baby Ann.

Maureen is survived by six siblings: Sheila Mulholland and her husband, Jonathan Levin-Epstein, of Longmeadow, Mass., Leo Mulholland and his wife, Penny, Shawn Mulholland and his wife, Sobia, of Whitehall, Pamela (Mulholland) DeGroff and her husband, Thomas, of Queensbury, Karen (Mulholland) Grogan and her husband, Shane, of Freeport, Florida, and Mark Mulholland of Wilton.

Other survivors include her in-laws, Arnold and Helen Frasier, Betty and Gary Waite, and Cindy and Tommy Stevenson, and 18 nieces and nephews.

Maureen also felt fortunate to have a dear lifelong friend from the Class of '75 in Debbie Sparks.

Maureen was predeceased by her mother, Florence "Sis" Mulholland, and her father, Leo D.D. Mulholland.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Timothy, a sister, Daniela, and a sister-in-law, Kelly.

Family and friends may call from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday, August 21, 2025, at Jillson Funeral Home, 46 Williams St., Whitehall.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 22, 2025 at Our Lady of Hope Roman Catholic Church on Skene St., Whitehall, with the Rev. Zachariah Chichester officiating.

The Rite of Christian Burial will take place at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery on County Route 18, Whitehall, immediately following the Mass.

Following the burial service, friends are invited to a reception at Skene Valley Country Club, 129 County Route 9A, Whitehall.

Contributions in Maureen's memory may be made to Kelly's Angels, Inc., a charity founded by Maureen's brother, Mark, to help area children who've lost a parent to cancer, or families who are currently battling cancer. Donations can be mailed to Kelly's Angels, P.O. Box 2034, Wilton, NY 12831.

Yesterday

I will miss Maureen. She worked with me some days at Sherwood Medical. She was funny and made the day go by faster. My deepest sympathy to her family as well.
