He was preceded in death by his parents. Richard is survived by his wife, Amanda Garcia; four sons: Jose David Godinez, Kaleb James Mora, Jaice Alexander Garcia, and Richard Thomas "Tommy" Garcia, Jr; and his sister: Brittany O'Connor (Jesse).
A memorial service will be held at 10:00am on Monday, December 15, 2025, at Abundant Live Christian Center (601 Delany Road, La Marque, Texas), with Pastor Walter Hallam and Pastor Joshua Rudolph officiating.
Honorary Pallbearers are David Godinez, Kaleb Mora, Jaice Garcia, Mychal O'Connor, Forrest Gandy, Justin Waggoner, Brian Ray and Gregory Drilling.
Services are under the direction of James Crowder Funeral Home – La Marque.
