"It is with heavy hearts we announce Richard Dwayne Graves Sr., beloved husband, father and grandfather, died suddenly on May 10th 2023.
Richard, the son of the late Albert Lloyd Graves and Emma Jean Braden Graves, was born October 10th 1964 in Montgomery County Maryland.
Richard was employed by Country Springs Nursery of Howard County and enjoyed coming home for a Miller Lite at the end of long days.
An avid lover of music and classic cars, Richard passed on these passions to his surviving children and grandchild.
The gift of music truly shined in Richard and is something that will be cherished and remembered forever by his loved ones.
Surviving relatives include wife of 33 years Sara Graves, son Richard Graves Jr. and his partner Brittnie,
daughter April Graves and her fiance Quentin, precious grandson Jesse Yee, and sisters Barbara Bunch and Kathy Graves.
A gathering of family and friends will be conducted on Tuesday May 16th from 5pm to 7pm at Burrier Queen Funeral Home in Winfield Maryland. Those wishing to contribute may send floral arrangements to Burrier Queen Funeral Home prior to the gathering on May 16th."
