Dennis Wayne Scheufele

Dennis Wayne Scheufele, 73, of Sykesville, MD passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, MD.
He was the beloved husband of Susan A. Scheufele (nee Meyd) for 45 years.
Born May 11, 1951, in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Raymond T. Scheufele and the late Margaret P. Scheufele (nee Hook).
Surviving in addition to his wife are Step-sons: Paul M. Haines of Westminster, MD, Lawrence D. Haines of Boulder City, NV and Philip G. Haines of Big Pool, MD. Stepdaughters: Ann M. Levering of Miami, FL, Laura S. Prybylski of Middle River, MD, and Michele E. Weih of Pasadena, MD. He is also survived by 9 Step-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and close friends.
He was preceded in death by sisters Mary J. Poist, Pearl A. Cutcher and Darlene Papale, brothers Raymond, Jr., Joseph R., George P., Charles A., Albert F., William R., Raymond, Jr. and Richard A. Scheufele. He was also preceded in death by Step-son John B. Yelton and Step-granddaughter Malissa Duvall.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 13, 2025 from 2 PM to 4 PM and from 6 PM to 8 PM at BURRIER-QUEEN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, P.A., 1212 W. OLD LIBERTY RD., WINFIELD, MD 21784. (beside S. Carroll High School), where funeral services will be held on Monday, April 14, 2025 at 10 AM.
Interment will follow at Lake View Memorial Park, Sykesville, MD.
