Deborah Lee Scheufele, 68, of Sand Dollar Drive, Keyser, WV, formerly of Baltimore, MD, passed away on Thursday, August 7, 2025 at her residence while under the care of WVU Medicine Hospice.

Born on July 27, 1957 in Baltimore, MD, she was a daughter of the late William and Dorothy (Ebberts) Jessen.

Mrs. Scheufele was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. She enjoyed camping, gardening and cooking for her family.

Surviving is her husband of 43 years, John Henry Scheufele; four children, Lindsey Longley and husband Matt of Hampstead, MD, John Henry Scheufele, Jr. of Keyser, Jesse Joseph Scheufele of Romney, WV and Lori Scheufele of Keyser; two grandchildren, Jase Dennis and Addy Longley and two sisters, Dorothy Cutcher and husband Dennis of Purgitsville, WV and Donna Szyman and husband Mike of Finksburg, MD.

At the request of the family, all services will be private for the family.

The Smith Funeral Home and Crematory, Keyser, is in charge of the arrangements.
