James "Jim" Scheufele Obituary
James William "Jim" Scheufele, 74, of Westminster, died Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at his residence. Born November 1, 1949 in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Shirley L. (Cavey) Scheufele and William G. Scheufele. He was the beloved husband of Joy "Denise" Smoot Scheufele.
Jim retired as a Grounds Foreman for Baltimore County Public Schools. He was a member of Crosswinds Church and served in the Marine Corps. He loved the outdoors, nature and building model military vehicles.
Besides his wife, he is survived by a son James S. Scheufele and wife Kristy of Charlotte Hall, MD and daughter Vicki M. Garcia of Westminster; grandchildren Selena, Morghan and Ashley and great-grandchildren Daisy, Genevieve, Sophia, Everett, Poppy Mae and Taylor.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Crosswinds Church, 640 Lucabaugh Mill Rd., Westminster, MD 21157 with Pastor Chris Kaskel officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516 or Johns Hopkins ALS Clinic, c/o Lora Clawson, MSN, CRNP, 601 N. Caroline St., Suite 5070A, Baltimore, MD 21287.
