Richard Gray, age 75, passed away March 11, 2024. He was a dedicated husband, daddy, and pawpaw. He was an extremely hard worker who spent 31 years at Halter Marines until he retired to become a full-time cattle farmer. He was a loyal member of Mount Pisgah Baptist Church. He will be truly missed by all who was honored to know him.
He is preceded in death by his son, Willie Gray; parents, JT and Francis Gray; sisters, Thelma Gray, Addie Smith, Winnie Stahle, Bethal Merritt; brothers, Buddy Gray and Willie Joe Gray; Grandson, James Douglas Howard.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 51 years, Debbie Gray; daughters, Rhonda (Robert) Gill, Amanda (Antonio) Ramos, and Mary (Jamie) Bice; grandchildren, Destiny Martinez, Breianna Mizelle, Dewey Falls, CJ Falls, Isaac Falls, Jimmy Falls, Felipe Lorenzo, Rubi Ramirez, Levi Gray, and Alivia Gray; 10 great grandchildren; sisters, Annie Lee, Mary Parker, Eunice Turner, Lily Turner, and Charlene Hayes; brothers, Larry Gray, Johnny Gray, and Mitchell Gray; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The Visitation will be Thursday, March 14, 2024 from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Mount Pisgah Baptist Church in Leakesville. The Funeral Service will begin at 12:00 PM in the church chapel with Bro. Andrew Wilkins officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery.
Food will be provided by the church in the reception hall immediately following the graveside service. Everyone is invited.
