Richard Lynn Hadley
Richard Lynn Hadley, 60, passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at his home.
He was born May 7, 1961 in Ogden, Utah, a son of Ralph and Dorothy Blalock Hadley and lived most of his life in Roy.
On November 20, 1981, Richard married Brenda June Buhler and was divorced in 2007.
He was active in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served as a financial clerk for many years in his ward.
After 30 years of service, Richard retired from Weber School District as a worker in Grounds Maintenance. He was dependable and someone that could be relied on to get the job done right.
He enjoyed collecting antiques, working in his yard, crafting, and spending time with family. He had a big heart, a playful sense of humor and, being large in stature, will be remembered by many as a gentle giant.
Richard is survived by two sons, Kyle (Erica) Hadley, Brigham City; Kevin (Megan) Hadley, Erda; and ten grandchildren. Also surviving are three brothers, Michael, Lowell, and Mark Hadley, and only sister, Diane Ellsworth.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 18th at the Roy 30th Ward Chapel, 5900 South 3100 West. A visitation will be held for family and friends on that morning from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church.
Interment, Lindquist's Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd. Order Videos
