Rick was employed as a computer programmer for several companies in the area, retiring from Goal/QPC in Salem, NH in 2010.

While at Triumphant Cross, Rick religiously served on the church council, and was a dedicated member of the Bread of Life Food Pantry Committee for many years, delivering food from the NH Food Bank and USDA food runs from Exeter for those in need.
Rick was a member of Future Farmers of America, Sunset Lake Association and Hampstead VFW Post 11254.
Rick leaves his loving wife Pamela, son and daughter-in-law, James and Kimberley Hartung and grandson Declan Hartung, as well as several sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews.
