Rick enjoyed playing many sports; basketball, football, volleyball and golf to name a few. He was a lifelong Buffalo Bills fan as well as an avid video game player. When not watching his favorite football team or playing one of his video games he was busy with his kids; coaching his son's t-ball and football teams, attending dance recitals or playing outside. He was an amazing husband and father who loved his family and extended family dearly. Rick was always willing to lend a helping hand and happy to share his quick wit and infectious smile. He will be greatly missed by all who love him but never forgotten.

I, like many, had the pleasure and privilege to meet Rick through our gaming community. He was always a beacon of positivity and enthusiasm and that extended to every aspect of his life that he shared with us. He would talk often about his family that he clearly loved so much and when his son was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes we bonded over that. Rick was one of the most genuine people I´ve ever had the pleasure of knowing and he will be missed greatly.

Descanse en paz Amigo!!

I had the privilege of meeting Rick online during the pandemic through a shared love of gaming. Beyond that I got to know a loving family man, a kind soul who would give anyone the shirt off his back, and most of all a friend who was always there to chat and talk about anything. Meeting Rick and Jen in person last summer was a chance to see all of the above traits come to life, and a memory I will cherish forever.

Farewell my friend, you will be missed.

I met Rick through games of Among Us with members of the RTG community. Rick jovial attitude always kept us laughing. Rick always came off as a family man and spoke highly of his wife and his 3 kids. I am so glad we got the opportunity to meet Jen & Rick in Ottawa last year. I am deeply saddened by the news of his passing and he will be missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family in these dark days.
Rest in Peace Rick.

I met Rick last June in Ottawa, Ontario. He treated me like I was a lifelong friend. He is a member of the Remember the Game community, a group of avid video game adults, and will be missed. I had many conversations with him and will miss chatting about life, games, and everything. Bye, Rick.

Rick and I were both members of the same gaming and I had the chance to meet Rick & Jen in the summer of 2023. Rick always spoke with such pride about his family and was always there to lend an ear. While his loss has left us heartbroken, it pales in comparison to what's felt at home. We will miss & remember him.
