He was born May 15, 1972 in Yonkers, New York, the son of William C. Kachmar and Carol (Mc Cue) Corlieto. He grew up in Yonkers, graduated from Roosevelt High School and later from SUNY Oneonta with a Bachelor's of Science Degree.
He moved to Vermont and owned and operated a glass blowing shop at the base of Killington. For the last eight years he has been employed as Sous Chef at Mojo Cafe in Ludlow, Vt.
He enjoyed soccer, fishing, snowboarding, loved to cook and loved his dog, Blaze. He was a loving and generous person.
Richard is survived by his mother Carol Corlieto, two sisters; Laura Gomez, and Tara Boreham, 3 nieces; Mia Gomez, Trinity Boreham and Indiana Boreham, two nephews William Kachmar, and Matthew Kachmar.
He was predeceased by his father William and by his brother William.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday March 24, 2025 at the Davis Memorial Chapel in Springfield, Vt.
Friends may call at the Davis Memorial Chapel on Monday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM
