Richard L. Keeney

Richard L. Keeney, born on September 6, 1971, passed away peacefully in his residence on December 15, 2025, at the age of 54. He was a cherished son, father, grandfather, and brother.

Richard is survived by his devoted mother, Susan M. (Gechter) Keeney; his beloved daughter, Autumn M. Keeney, who is the companion of Blake Deeter; and his cherished grandson, Clyde Kroh. He also leaves behind his brother, Thomas Keeney.

Richard was preceded in death by his father, Harry E. Keeney, and his brother, Jeffrey Keeney.

Throughout his life, Richard enjoyed spending time outdoors, relishing in activities such as hunting and fishing, and he treasured moments shared with his daughter and grandson. Richard was known for his remarkable intelligence, particularly with hands-on tasks, and his extraordinary ability to make anything work. A selfless individual, he dedicated much of his life to helping those around him. His passion for nature and family truly defined him, as he dedicated himself to creating lasting memories with his loved ones.

Visitation services will be held at Kirkhoff Funeral Home, located at 206 N. Main Street in Bernville, on December 22, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at the same location, commencing at 11:00 a.m.
