Richard "Dick" Raymond Kowalski, 81 of Zanesville, passed away on February 25, 2025, at Genesis Morrison Hospice from Cancer.
He was born on January 19, 1944, in Zanesville to the late Raymond and Lillian Kowalski. Dick graduated from Philo High School in 1962 and served his country as a Veteran of the US Army. He was an Ohio State Highway Patrol Trooper for 8 years, stationed in Norwalk Ohio. Dick retired from Grange Mutual Casualty Company as an adjuster. He enjoyed his workshop, making canes and large trains, which one set is displayed in a Museum in Maine.
He is survived by his wife, Cheryl "Star" (Bright) Kowalski of 57 years; 3 Sons: Christopher (Eileen)Kowalski, Timothy Kowalski, Anthony (Jenee) Kowalski of TN; grandchildren, Kendyl Kowalski, Karcyn Kowalski both from TN, and Spencer and his Mother Trisha Kowalski; his brothers, Robert (Sharon) Kowalski, Ronald(Debbie)Kowalski; sister, Betty(Paul)Kunz; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he is proceeded in death by sister, Barbara Kowalski; grandson, Warren Kowalski; daughter in law, Kathy Kowalski.
Dick chose Ohio State University College of Medicine & Crematory.
