Richard Jack Lamb

Richard Jack Lamb, 86, of Weatherford, passed away Tuesday, August 9, 2022. He was born January 29, 1936 in Goldsboro, Texas to George Allen and Beulah Bellew Lamb. Richard was a machinist for Lockheed Martin and retired after 30 years. He was a member of Beulah Baptist Church, a Korean War veteran; serving in the US Army and Air Force. Richard was a life member and past Post Commander of the VFW Post 4746. He enjoyed gardening, fishing and being a grandpa. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wives, Barbara Lamb and Jean Lamb; siblings, Doyle "Bud" Lamb, Mandy Dobbs and Billy Jane Demoines and grandson Tyler Lamb.
Richard is survived by his sons, Richard A Lamb and fiance Tina McBride Price, Jerry Lamb and wife Karry, and Carl Lamb and wife Christina; sisters, Sarah Wallace and Delta Buford; grandchildren, Dustin Lamb, Brittany Cash and husband Ryan, Brandi Sanford and husband Joey, Jackie Crosby and husband Ronnie, Catherine Dawson, Hollie Medrano and husband Brandon, Crysta Lamb, Cayde-Jack Lamb, and Carly Jo Smithwick and husband Chris; great grandchildren, Holden, Miley, Weldon, Meyer and Von Cash, Justice and Judge Sanford, Tristin and Dakota Crosby, Breydon and Tatum, Raygan Brown, Johnathyn Derek Paul and Kayson Waylon Lamb.
A visitation will be held at 9 am on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at Beulah Baptist Church with a funeral service at 10 am. Interment to follow at Poe Prairie Cemetery in Millsap.
