Richard Lang

Richard Clarence Lang, 87, of Camp Springs, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on February 8, 2026, at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood. He was born on June 2, 1938.

Richard was a man of strong faith and a devoted member of New Hope Christian Center. He cherished his family and was known as a hardworking and loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Richard spent his life building and remodeling homes and also served 30 years as a service technician at the City of Newport Waterworks. He loved the outdoors, often enjoying hunting and fishing, and was a talented athlete in his youth.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Clara Lang; his beloved son, Jeffrey A. Lang; and his siblings: Nancy (the late Jim) Burke, Betty (the late Richard) Walter, Frank (the late Bea) Lang, Gerry (the late Don) Cherry, Clara Louise Lang, Rosie (Jim) Lane, Bobbie Combs, and Joan (Joe) Florea.

Richard is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Patsy Lang; his brother, Danny Mike Lang; his children, Gregory Lang, Rebecca (Aric) Russell, and Deborah (Daniel) Roaden; along with twelve grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

Visitation Thursday, February 12, 2026, at the Alexandria Funeral Home 325 Washington Street Alexandria, KY 41001 from 10:00 AM until time of the Funeral Service at 12:00 PM. Interment to follow in the Evergreen Cemetery, Southgate, KY
