Richard Malik Obituary
A memorial service will be held Sunday, December 14, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at Charleston Cremation Center and Funeral Home, 2054 Wambaw Creek Road, Charleston. A private burial at Beaufort National Cemetery will take place at a later date.
Richard was born on January 4, 1943, in Cleveland, Ohio, the son of the late Mary L. and Paul Malik. A proud U.S. Army veteran, he honorably served his country during the Vietnam War. Following his military service, Richard built a long and dedicated career as a Distribution Manager with Michelin Tire.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Doris Marie Malik, who passed away in 2022.
Richard is survived by his sons Jason Paul Malik of Livonia, MI and Michael Joseph Malik of Charleston, SC.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, www.kidney.org.
