I miss you, Dear Uncle Dick, but I know you're in a better place. I couldn't have asked for a better godfather, and I've always felt so fortunate having you and Aunt Erla Mae in my life. You, My Dear One, the epitome of goodness and graciousness, will be sorely missed. However, I am left with lovely memories of you that I will cherish forever.

Dear Uncle Dick, I have always felt so fortunate that you and Aunt Erla Mae were chosen as my godparents. You both have been a solid force in my life, and I will love you forever. I miss you terribly, but I know you are pain free and in a better place, and that gives me solace. There was never a better man on this earth as you, so giving, thoughtful and loving. I have been so gifted to be on the receiving end of your love, and I will miss you forever.
