Richard J. Mark of Sterling Heights, Michigan passed away on December 19, 2024, at the age of 87.
Richard was the loving husband of the late Beverly A. Mark (Pomeroy) and loving father to the late John G. Mark, Paul M. Mark, James A. Mark, Rochelle M. Haire (Mark), Matthew D. Mark, and Lance M. Mark. Richard has 15 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind his beloved cats Buddy and Hank.
Richard graduated from high school in Hamtramck, Michigan in 1955. He retired from the Chrysler Corporation, where he worked as a skilled tradesman operating a boring mill. Richard enjoyed trips to casinos and sports, especially football and NASCAR. He was a dedicated family man and would do anything to help those in need, both family and strangers.
Richard had a gentle nature but was strong, yet fair. He enjoyed stimulating intellectual conversation. He had a great sense of humor and a beautiful soul. He truly made the world a better place and will be sadly missed by all.
Visitation Friday, December 27, from 10:30 a.m. until the 12:00 p.m. noon Funeral Service at Wysocki & Wilk Funeral Home, 29440 Ryan Road, Warren, Michigan. Interment to follow at White Chapel Memorial Park Cemetery in Troy, Michigan.
