Richard M. Marshall, our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, and friend, passed into God's loving hands on Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2026. Rich was born in Dubois to the late Merle and Arvella Kessler Marshall in 1936. He graduated from Sandy High School. Rich retired from the PA State Police and opened a private driving school. He also served 16 years on the Greater Latrobe School District Board of Education. A lifetime member of FOP Lodge 62, Youngman's Sportsman Club, PA State Police Historical Society, and Norvelt Golf League. He was an active member of Westminster Presbyterian Church. He and Helen joined other Presbyterians on two pilgrimages to Scotland and Ireland, tracing the journeys of the early monks carrying Christianity across Scotland and Ireland. Rich and Helen enjoyed traveling and had many trips to the countries in Europe. They enjoyed cruises with family and friends. Rich and his sons took several hunting trips out west.
