Mr. Richard Benjamin Martin, 75, a proud veteran of The United States Army, passed away on Wednesday, February 26nd, 2025, in his residence. A native of Cleveland County, He was born on May 25th, 1949, son of the late James Richard and Annabelle Woods Martin. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Trudy Sisk Martin, three brothers and one sister.
Mr. Martin is survived by son, Richard Martin of Shelby, daughter, Charity Lanasa and husband Michael of Taylors, SC, sister, Karen Fox of Cherryville and granddaughter, Lily Martin.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00pm Saturday, March 8, 2025, at Cleveland Funeral Services, officiated by Rev. Scott Caldwell.
