So very saddened to read about Rich's passing. I was a friend of Irene and always was impressed by her strong spirit and the tender, loving care Rich bestowed on her. Rich was a standup solid man, always so delighted to greet you with that big smile and bigger bear hug. My condolences to his loving family.

I will miss him leaving the Giants game in the third inning. Three or four innings it seem was all he could take especially through those lean years. He was a joy to talk to at the games as he sat in my Section at Oracle Park. So sorry to hear of his passing. My wife and brother-in-law grew up with Rich in the Sunset..
