Richard Lee Morgan

Richard Lee Morgan, 94, of Fairmont, West Virginia passed away on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at the Clarksburg Healthcare Center in Clarksburg. He was born on June 10, 1931, a son of the late Frank and Mae Bland Morgan.
Richard proudly served in the United States Army. He was a member of Victory Baptist Church. Richard also enjoyed bowling and playing cards with his friends.
Left to cherish his memory are two sons, Richard Morgan II and Matthew (Theresa) Morgan; three daughters, Louise (John) Malackanich, Mary (Joe) Almonte, and Sherry (John) Buffalini; three brothers, Charles Morgan, Larry (Libby) Morgan, and Harold Morgan; two sisters, Helen Minor and Betty (Vic) Satterfield; thirty seven grandchildren; two sister in laws, Glenda Morgan and Margie Morgan; a special niece, Jamie Halpenny; and a special friend, Raymond Pefferman.
He is proceeded in death by one daughter Melinda Mihok and her spouse Joe; his first wife, Lillian Mae Morgan; his second wife, Ruth Ann Morgan; two brothers, Robert Morgan and Jerry Morgan; one sister, Dorothy Shambaugh; and one brother-in-law, Robert Minor.
Friends and Family may call at the Carpenter and Ford Funeral Home, 209 Merchant Street Fairmont, West Virginia 26554, on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm, and again on Thursday, November 20, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. A service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 am with Pastor Nathan Barker presiding. An interment will follow at The West Virginia National Cemetery with full military rites conducted by the United States Army.
