Richard was one of my best friends, we had a friendship going back over 40 years. We had a lot of fun together, especially when we worked at Robinson developmental center. The stories I could tell would just make you laugh and fall off your chair.
His passing was very sad news, and very unexpected. I am happy to say that Richard and I spoke often. He also was the first person to send a Christmas card to my mother every year. God bless him, he was definitely one of the good guys.
