In Loving Memory of Richard Todd “Rick” Neudorff
Rick Neudorff, age 61, of East Troy, passed away November 19, 2025, in his home surrounded by loved ones.
Born on October 1, 1964, in Waukesha, Wisconsin, Rick was the youngest child and only son of Richard Neudorff and Judy Neudorff (née Wachal).
Rick was a graduate of Elkhorn High School. He was an accomplished lifelong learner, mastering many fields, most notably developing expertise as a largely self-taught auto mechanic, welder, and businessman. A master salesman, he could listen as well as he could talk.
For many years, Rick owned and operated a successful auto sales and repair business on Main Street in East Troy. He had previously spent many years at Motorsports in Burlington. He was widely known for his herculean work ethic, his empathy and generosity, and his relentless good spirits. He treated his customers the way he treated almost everyone; he always wanted to help people to get what they needed.
Together with his wife, Lindey, he owned and operated Lindey’s on Beulah from 2005 until 2022. For nearly two decades Lindey’s was never just a bar; it was home to generations of families, staff, and friends who walked in as customers and left as family. If you ever bellied up to the bar or sat out on the patio, you know the feeling—you were part of something rare, you were loved, and more often than not, you’d hear Lindey or one of the bartenders holler for Rick, their muscle and Mr. Fix-It, who was somehow always there to save the day. Together they cultivated a special kind of love that made Lindey’s feel like home to so many. Rick completed Lindey’s.
And Lindey completed Rick.
Rick was a devoted husband, father, friend, and neighbor. In 2008 he married the love of his life, Lindey, and together they built a home filled with laughter and love. Rick redefined what it meant to be a father—he truly was the dad of all dads. Many called him Superman, but his greatest superpower wasn’t a cape or super strength; it was being Super Dad. He could do it all, and that he did.
Rick was a man who understood the value of hard work but was equally dedicated to enjoying life, always ensuring he and everyone around him had an amazing time. His passion for speed was evident in his love for snowmobiling, motorcycles, and GoKart racing. An avid outdoorsman, he particularly enjoyed fishing with his son, Jett, and listening to his favorites songs by the fire. He was a devoted fan of his favorite sports teams, the Milwaukee Bucks and the Green Bay Packers.
In January of 2022, Rick received a devastating cancer diagnosis that gave him months to live. Due to the efforts of his surgeon and medical team, his extraordinary wife, and his absolutely indomitable spirit, Rick had a miraculous extra three years of life, which he lived with grace while enduring experiences that would have easily destroyed a weaker man.
Many who knew him saw him, as his family did, as truly heroic.
He will be remembered as a man among men: a devoted husband and father, a loyal friend, a steadfast protector, a selfless steward, and an honorable man.
It will be impossible to forget his easy, infectious smile, his unbreakable positivity, the boundless reach of his generosity, and the way he always showed up—the strongest husband, the proudest dad, and the man who got it done for all of us.
Rick is survived by his beloved wife, Lindey Neudorff (nee Crivello), and their children: Macy, Camryn, and Jett. He also leaves behind his mother, Judy Neudorff; sisters, Michelle Webb and Barbara Lewis; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends..
He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Neudorff, and a beloved nephew, Bear.
A Celebration of Life for Rick will be held at 2pm on Saturday, November 29th, at The Venue of East Troy, located at 2645 Main Street.
Fear not for I am with you - Isaiah 41:10
I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me - Philippians 4:13
In lieu of flowers, kindly love on Lindey and the kids the way Rick always loved on all of us.
The Quiet Nod
Patient, Graceful, Enduring, Unmistakably Noble
In memory of Richard T. Neudorff
He stood in the doorway of the last battlefield,
armor cracked, shield long splintered,
yet the light in his eyes never dimmed.
No trumpet, no banner, no cry for quarter—
only the steady breath of a man who had already decided
the fight was worth the pain.
He carried patience like a cloak woven from years,
grace like a blade he never had to draw.
Every blow that found him he met with the same quiet nod.
There is a kind of courage
that never lifts a sword in anger,
only raises a hand to steady someone else.
There is a kind of victory
that asks for no songs,
only asks that the children sleep safely
and the door stays open for whoever needs to come in from the cold.
That was his war.
That was his triumph—noble to the marrow.
He laid his weapons down at last,
not in defeat,
but because the field was finally, perfectly quiet
and every soul he ever loved
was already safe inside the walls he built with his own heart.
To my hero, my husband, and my best friend, Richard Todd, you are loved beyond measure.
You always will be.
