Richard Shawn Nohl, 56, of Clyde passed away Thursday, June 26, 2025, at an Abilene hospital. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 30, 2025, at Clyde First Baptist Church with Dr. Toby Henson officiating under the direction of Bailey Howard Funeral Home of Clyde. Burial will follow in Clyde Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Richard was born June 16, 1969, in Ruislip, England to Robert and Alfreda Nohl. He graduated from Cooper High School and then attended Abilene Christian College. He married Stephanie Searcy in Clyde on July 30, 2005, shortly after they moved to Clyde from Abilene. Richard worked as a director for A & A Advantage and was a member of Clyde First Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Stephanie Nohl; three sons, Donovan, Kohlten and Kayden Nohl; two daughters, Brittany and Esther Nohl; daughter-in-law, Kristen Nohl; one brother, Robert Nohl; two brothers-in-law, Kevin Searcy and Scott Wheatley; two sisters-in-law, Talitha Searcy and Melissa Wheatley; six grandchildren, Dallan Nohl, Ashlyn Timms, Kennedi Judah, Taryn Jacobson, Emery Nohl and Kenley Nohl; mother-in-law, Cathie Searcy; his father, Robert Nohl and stepmother, Cynthia Nohl; friends, Lane and Amber Davis, Valarie and John Harris; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many friends. Richard was preceded in death by his mother, Alfreda Nohl; father-in-law, Buford Searcy and grandparents-in-law, Tracy and Virgil Nichols.
