Timothy Martin Nohl, 62, suddenly passed away on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at his home in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was born on September 25, 1962 in Indianapolis to Thomas E Nohl and Marieanne (Goger) Nohl, who preceded him in death. Tim was baptized at St. Therese of the Little Flower Catholic Church; was a 1977 graduate of Holy Spirit Catholic School; and a 1981 graduate of Cathedral High School. He also earned degrees in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Technology from Purdue University in 1985 and 1995, respectively. He worked as a Test Stand Engineer at Rolls Royce of North America for over 30 years utilizing his expert engineering and problem solving skills. Tim, who was known in the family as "Mr. Fix It," loved a good tech challenge. When he wasn't working, he could be found riding his e-bike or cheering on his favorite football team at Purdue. His humble, quiet, kind, and generous spirit will be missed.
He is survived by his eight siblings: Thomas A Nohl (d. Linda) (Laura Goodman), Anne T Traub (James P), John P Nohl, Vincent J Nohl (Mary), Marie N Comer (Frank), James T Nohl, Paul X Nohl (Kelly), and Jane M Elliott (Scott). Tim has 14 nieces and nephews, Martin Nohl, Sean Nohl, Patrick Nohl, Emma Nohl, Robert Nohl, James E Traub, Michael Traub, Daniel Traub, Joseph Nohl, Michael Comer, Patrick Comer, Ryan Nohl, Sarah Elliott, and Meredith Elliott. Tim also has 17 great nieces & nephews, and numerous beloved cousins, along with many wonderful friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 2, 2025 at St. Therese of the Little Flower Catholic Church, 4720 E. 13th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46201. Visitation will begin in the Church at 9:30 a.m. and conclude at time of the funeral service. The Mass will be live streamed on the Little Flower Catholic Church and School Facebook page. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested for St. Therese of the Little Flower Catholic Church, Holy Spirit Indianapolis Catholic Church, Cathedral High School, or Purdue University.

I am so sorry for your loss; Tim and I worked on many projects together over the years and no matter what the challenge was he met it. He always had a good attitude and a great sense of humor. He has a good soul and he will be sorely missed. I feel extremely lucky to have met and worked with Tim.
