Richard Charles Orrick

Richard Charles Orrick, 63, of Ravenden passed away Monday, September 27, 2021 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. He was born April 29, 1958 in Rockford, Illinois to Betty Hall and the late Charles Orrick. Rick was of the Church of Christ belief. He drove a big truck for over 36 years and retired from P & P Trucking. Rick had a loving heart and never met a stranger. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, wood working, BBQing and he was a professional jokester. Most of all Rick loved spending time with family, especially his grandchildren.
In addition to his mother, survivors include his wife of 25 years, Anita Orrick; 2 sons, James R. McCurry, Christopher Orrick; 2 daughters, Elisha (Jeremy) Throesch, Elizabeth Morgan; 4 brothers: Rod Orrick, Jeff Orrick, Johnny Orrick and Matthew Rodgers; 1 sister, Cathy Crawford; 12 grandchildren and numerous other family and friends.
Visitation will be Saturday, October 2, 2021 from 11:00-1:00 pm at the Ravenden Community Center.
All other services are private.
