Richard Patrick Jr., 67, of Inez, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at his home on July 15th, 2025. He was born on April 28th, 1958, in Beauty, Kentucky, to Richard and Sally (Stacy) Patrick.
Although JR spent his years as an electrician underground, he will be remembered for his charismatic personality, witty observations, memorable stories and advice. JR was protective over those he loved and often reminisced about times ginsenging in the hills with his brothers and son. JR had a way of captivating people with his unique perspective and character, leaving behind memories that those who knew him will never forget.
He is survived and missed by his son, Richard (Rebekah) Patrick; daughters, Audrey (Chris) Hunt, Stephanie Wright, and Kim Warner; as well as his grandchildren, Beckham, Gracelyn, Chance, Logan, Miles, Emma, and Drake. His memory will be cherished by his siblings, Blaine (Kathy) Patrick, Ollie (Mark) Doerre, Bobby (Kathy) Patrick, Audrey (Keith) Wittwer, Thelma (Kevin) Harris, Amos Patrick, Betty (Brent) Hume, Launa (Jerry) Pelphrey, and Gary Patrick.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Sally Patrick; siblings, Kelly Patrick, Isaac Patrick, and Jessie Patrick; daughter, Brittany Williamson; and granddaughter, Chloe Mae Patrick.
As per the JR's wishes, there will be no funeral or memorial service.
Care Cremation and Funeral Service is honored to be entrusted with final care.
