Richard Paylor Obituary
Born Thursday, October 3, 1946, in Hagerstown, MD, he was the son of the late Richard Paylor and the late Helen (Harr) Paylor.
Richard graduated from South Hagerstown High School class of 1965. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during the Vietnam War. He was employed with the City of Hagerstown as a Supervisor in the Light Department. Richard was a member of the Last Man's Club at the V.F.W. in Funkstown, MD, a Life Member at the Potomac Fish and Game Club and the V.F.W. in Mercersburg, PA.
He is survived by his sons, Todd L. (Anne) Paylor, and Randy J. (Nicole) Paylor; brother, David Paylor; grandchildren, Amanda Koontz (Matt), Kate Paylor (fiancé Brad Banzhoff), Katiann Villeneuve (Luc), Morgan Yeakle, Hunter Paylor (Alexis), and great-grandchildren, Mia, Molly, Callie, and Vera.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Lee Paylor.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, 1331 Eastern Blvd. North, Hagerstown, MD.
