Richard Jason Perot

 

Richard Jason Perot, 53, of Sibley, LA, passed away on September 27, 2023. A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 7, 2023 at Living Word in Minden, Louisiana at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will be October 7, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. until time of service. Officiating the service will be Pastor Andy Maddox.

Jason was a loving husband, son, brother, uncle, and friend. To many, he was like a brother and second dad. Jason loved with his whole heart and his presence and smile could light up any room. He always put others before himself, willing to lend a helping hand with his remarkable ability to fix anything. In his spare time, Jason loved hunting, fishing, and weekends at the deer camp.

Jason was born on November 18, 1969, in Minden, Louisiana to Carma Perot and the late Richard Perot. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Lesley Summer Griggs Perot; mother, Carma Perot; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ronnie and Kim Griggs; brother, Mike Pedroza and wife, Peggy; sister, Melinda Williams and husband, Ricky; sister-in-law, Amber Hidalgo and husband, Jason; nephews, Dustin, Darren, Cameron, and Evan Hidalgo; nieces, Michelle Fountain, Allie Pedroza, Whitney Williams, and Cheyenne Henderson.

He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Perot, and brother, Carlos Pedroza.

Jason will forever be remembered for his smile, hugs, and unwavering love for family and friends. In his honor, please feel free to wear your finest blue jeans, camouflage, and LSU.
