Richard was a tireless and a dedicated advocate of the Pride Parade, perhaps the only one in the early
years when I worked with him 1976 ? (Leonard Matlovich) for a few Parades thereafter. In later years I would always call out to him when he passed by. I am sure he is organizing a Parade somewhere now.

Our group at Kelly High School called Richard Pfeiffer. We hung out together, went to Old Town. I had a crush on him which he never knew. Im proud to say he was a friend, proud of his service to the community, his integrity, his sensitivity, and long time commitment to his husband. So many will miss you. Rest In Peace.

My favorite memories were riding together in several Pride Parades.

Deepest sympathy
Richard always helped us out when we wanted to put our Float in the Gay Pride Parade.
We can only imagine the Pride Parades he will be organizing now!
Rest in Peace!
