My Dear Friend Richie-loo
My wife Brenda & I opened a store, still called the Bears Den next door to Rich Phleiger & his sweet wife of many years Barb.
We got acquainted with this great couple as neighbors & grew to know them both as very special people. I recall my earlier years chainsaw carving & their lil dog Woody sneaking over & running off with wood chunks from my carving, leave the chunks in the yard & hearing his master Rich hit them while mowing. Rich & I became good friends & when Brenda & I decided to develop a carving company making, mostly bears to sell & distribute through out the country, Rich was our first choice as a helper as he had vast experience with working with HP for many years. I can´t recall all the many tasks I challenged Rich to over the years of working with us. But he never shrugged a project & seemed most happy, humming & whistling while doing so. Several years ago my father passed away & that hit hard. I came to realize that my friend Rich filled in the absence of my dad & I always felt he was Gods gift to me as an alternate. I´ve never met or known such a unique personality & positive happy individual so willing to help & improvise when necessary.
Feeling so blessed right now to have had him & Barb in our lives.
Rich , We hope the boards are mostly are straight, & not much sanding necessary & if our Lord needs a little touch up in his realm he finally brought home his servant to help his gather Joseph with the necessary
improvements . Love you & will think about all the fun we had creating over the years my friend God Bless

Such a delightful man; we have a hall tree that he built for us, with a seat and a mirror, and it's lovely and functional. We will miss Rich.
