Richard "Rick" Scott Phillips, 61, passed away on May 29, 2025. He was born to Thomas Phillips and Eileen Cochran on January 9, 1964 in Newburgh, New York.
Rick was an artist and musician, and owner of auto-mechanic shop. He also owned and operated Tuned in Radios, and was a DJ. He loved riding motorcycles and motocross in his younger years. Rick always kept his friends and family entertained.
Rick is preceded in death by his grandparents, Francis and Mary Scott.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Susan Phillips, sons, Christopher (Alyssa) Phillips, Richard Phillips, ands Nicholas Whitton, Shawn (Shelby) Olrich, daughter, Amanda Phillips and Kendra (Dave) Herring, grandchildren, Freya and Colter Phillips, parents, Thomas Phillips and Eileen Cochran, brother, Thomas (Tammy) Phillips Jr., niece, Katie Phillips, and nephew, Thomas Phillips III.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, June 20, 2025 at 3:00 pm at Companion Funeral Home - The Mack Shelton Parlor. The family will be receiving friends from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm prior to the service.
