Passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at the age of 76 years. He was born on March 25, 1947, in Saginaw, MI, to the late Edward and Elizabeth (Pettyplace) Pickell. Sgt. Richard Pickell served in the United State Army, during the Vietnam War. He was inducted on December 5, 1966, in Detroit, Michigan and was honorably discharged on December 4, 1968, at Fort Riley, Kansas. Prior to his retirement, Richard worked as a mechanic in automotive repair. ln accordance with Richard's wishes, cremation has taken place. No services are scheduled at this time.
