Richard Pitmon

Richard Pitmon was born on August 25, 1949 to Leota (Garrison) & Leroy James Pitmon in Mill Creek, Oklahoma, He passed from this life on January 2, 2025 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma at the age of 75 with his family by his side. He was married to Terry Ann Oxley on August 25th 1969. He spent most of his life as a truck driver. He was proceeded in death by his parents, his brother Jim, a granddaughter Jessica Power, and a grandson Chase Pitmon. He is survived by his wife Terry Ann Pitmon of Wynnewood, Ok. Children Regina and Erick Brumley of Maysville, Ok., Kevin and Sharyne Pitmon of Mill Creek, OK. Grandchildren Shanna and Cody Couch of Alex, OK., Dalton and Kim Dean of Alvord, TX., Ericka and Tommy Cooper of OKC, OK., and Allison Pitmon of Holdenville, OK., 6 great grandchildren as well as siblings: Jack and Linda Pitmon, Mildred and James Clifton, and Mike and Sharline Pitmon and his "hunnert" cousins and friends. Pallbearers will be Dalton Dean, Cody Couch, Tommy Cooper, Zach Chandler, Kendal Morrison, and Shane England.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 5, 2025 from 1-5PM at the DeArman Funeral Home in Wynnewood. Services will be held on Monday, January 6, 2025 at 10AM at the Crossway Church in Sulphur, with interment to follow at the Oaklawn Cemetery of Sulphur.
Services are under the direction of the DeArman Funeral Home of Wynnewood.
