Richard David Radzinski

Richard D. Radzinski passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at the age of 69 at his home surrounded by his family after a long battle against cancer. Richard was born in Hamtramck on July 22, 1953 to Richard C. and Charlotte Radzinski.
Rick was many things, most notably a Husband, Father, Brother, Grandfather, Coach, Mentor and a pillar within the athletic communities of Hamtramck, Richmond, Clinton Township and Sterling Heights.
His career was in sales with Detroit Chemical and Paper where he excelled by building long standing relationships and befriending those that got to know him.
His life's calling though was coaching high school baseball and basketball. He was highly regarded in both coaching circles and with the many kids that played for him. He had the unique ability to listen to players and coaches then provide invaluable knowledge that would always give great direction. He was wise beyond his years. In his life, he received many accolades such as All-State awards and championships as a player then as a coach he was named 2019 MHSAA Assistant Coach of the Year and is a member of the Polish Roman Catholic National Hall of Fame. If you asked him how he attained such great success, he would immediately credit his Dad who was a Coach before him.
He is the beloved husband of 46 years of Jacqueline. Loving father of Jeff (Stacy) Radzinski and James (Tiffany) Radzinski. Very proud Grandpa of Alex, Ian, Rosalie and Olivia Radzinski. Dear brother of Terry (Judy) Radzinski and the late Karen Radzinski. Dear brother-in-law of Judy Greisman and Trish (Robert) Turpin. Cherished uncle of Todd (Sydney) Radzinski, Jeanna (Zach) Trotman, Wes (Ashley) Greisman and Drew Greisman. As well as a great uncle to Hazel and Trevor Radzinski, Luca Trotman and Mia Greisman.
