Shawn Lechner Obituary
Shawn was born on Wednesday, February 3rd, 1993, in Rochester Hills, Michigan. He resided in Macomb, MI, where he was cherished by all who knew him.
A talented and self-employed musician, Shawn's passion for music was evident to everyone who was fortunate to experience his performances. His creativity and spirit touched the lives of many, and he will be remembered for his vibrant personality and zest for life.
Shawn is deeply mourned by his loving parents, Stephen and Susan Lechner of Macomb, MI. He is also survived by his siblings, Steve (Melanie), Stephanie Lechner, and Sarah (Paul) McHugh; his cherished nieces and nephews, Bella, Jenna Lechner, and Paul, Luke, Marco, Noah, and Ruby McHugh.
Family and friends will gather to honor and remember Shawn at Wasik Funeral Home in Shelby Township, MI, on Thursday, February 12, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
On Friday, February 13th, 2026, Shawn will lie in state at St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church in Shelby Township, MI, from 9:30 am to 10:00 am, with a Funeral Mass to follow from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Wasik Funeral Home-Shelby Township. Though Shawn left us far too soon, he leaves behind a legacy of love, music, and cherished memories that will be eternally treasured by his family and friends.
