Papa, if the purpose of life was to give love and accept love, you truly succeeded.
Thank you for being such a beautiful example of unconditional love. I will always cherish our talks about life, death, and everything in between.
Thank you for supporting me in all of my endeavors, for helping me around my house whenever I needed it, and for always showing up. I am grateful for the memories of you cheering on your great-grandsons at their sporting games.
Your presence was steady, strong, and loving. You will always be the rock of this family.
I hope you´re having a beer with Cam while holding Nana´s hand surrounded by everyone who was waiting for you. I hope you soak in all the love. (I know you will) I can´t begin to imagine what a beautiful reunion that must be.
Enjoy heaven, Papa.
Until we meet again.
