Richard Reali, 77, of Bath, New Hampshire passed away on February 8, 2025, at Cottage Hospital after a short period of failing health. He was 77 years old and spent his final weeks in the loving company of his family and the compassionate hospital staff.
Richard was born on September 21, 1947, to Charles Marius Reali and Eva Elizabeth Reali (Corsi) in Cleveland, Ohio. During his childhood Richard lived in Independence, Ohio and moved to San Bernadino, California in high school. He enjoyed sports, especially baseball, playing outfield with a heck of an arm.
Richard moved East where he worked as a bar tender. He later met and married Tammy Paquette, with whom he shares a son, Reno Charles Reali. Together they opened Woodsville Video and Photo and shared many loving memories and laughs even after their divorce, staying close friends throughout his life.
Richard later worked for many years at Tender Corporation where he moved from shipping and receiving to purchasing manager before retiring. In his later years Richard also worked at the Woodsville Walmart stocking shelves.
Richard had a love for music throughout his life, playing the trumpet, enjoying concerts, and collecting records. He enjoyed a wide range of genres, gaining a love for modern music from his son and was always fond of rock and roll, blues, and jazz. In his final days he fondly recalled some of his favorites: The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, BB King, and Bonnie Raitt.
Richard left behind his anal-retentive organizing habits and stubborn will in his son, his love of music, a passion for vinyl shared with his daughter-in-law, and enough love to cover the world many times over.
Richard was predeceased by his parents. He is survived by his sister, Corinne Schratz, cousin Freddy Corsi, his son and daughter in law, Reno Charles Reali and Margaret Reali (Moloney), a grandson, Gavin Richard Reali, whom his name was passed to, his former wife Tammy Reali (Paquette) and a stepson, Christpher Spear. He also left behind many extended family members and friends.
A private family gathering will be held in his memory this spring at the ocean.
