He delighted in beach adventures with his Payton and Christopher as they searched for seashells together. With Noah embracing their interests and creating joyful experiences together, including a memorable project with Flat Stanley that showcased their creativity.

Though he is no longer with us, his legacy of love and joy will forever inspire all who knew him. Rik was my partner, my home, and my heart; his spirit endures in our cherished memories.
Rik didn't follow the straight path in life; instead, he carved out his own, filling it with laughter, love, and unforgettable moments that will stay with us always.
His spirit lives on-in every engine that roars, every cat that curls up beside me, and every
precious memory we hold dear. Though he has departed from this world, the impact of his life
continues to shine brightly in our hearts.
