Richard Carl McKee, 68, of Mount Vernon, passed away Monday November 28, 2022 at Mt Carmel East Hospital, in Columbus.
Rick was born March 13, 1954 in Mount Vernon OH to Robert Earl and Margie Maxine {Edgar} McKee.
Rick loved working with and helping the developmentally disabled. He deeply loved his family, especially nieces and nephews, who he loved to tease and torment. He liked riding motorcycles. He loved road trips and exploring and playing “taxi” for people in need. He would take off his coat to give to a person in need. He had a strong faith and frequently attended various churches.
Rick will be deeply missed by his sister Debbie (Renn) Beheler of Mount Vernon, sister-in-law Affie McKee of Bloomdale OH, many nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
Rick was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Dan McKee.
Friends may call Monday December 5th, 2022 from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Mount Vernon Chapel. Funeral services will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m. with Thomas Wagler officiating. Burial will be at Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.
