Richard Rocha

Richard G. Rocha, a lifelong resident of Brush, Colorado, passed away on January 20, 2026, at Swedish Medical Center in Denver, Colorado. He was 64 years old.

Born on June 10, 1961, Richard was a man who truly valued his roots, spending his entire life in the Brush community he called home. A dedicated and tireless worker, he spent his professional life in construction, helping to build the world around him with his own two hands.

When he wasn't working, Richard found his greatest joy in the outdoors. He was an avid fisherman who loved the quiet of the water, and he had a deep passion for his bike, finding freedom on the open road.

Richard was preceded in death by his mother, Christina. He is survived by his father, Jesse of Oklahoma; his brother, James of California; and his sisters, Denise of Oklahoma and Phyllis of Texas. He will be remembered by his family and friends as a hardworking man with a simple love for life's greatest pleasures.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Richard's honor on Saturday, January 31st, 2026, at 10:00 AM at The Carroll Building, 418 Edison Street in Brush.
