Mr. Seacord is known to us primarily through the eyes of his daughter and grandchildren. What we see is an enthusiastic sailor, a beloved grandfather and a retired engineer who could work wonders in his workshop, for the benefit of many. The pain that I saw and heard in recent conversations with Sam, Becky, Harry and Wendy tells me how much they have lost and how lucky they were to have Mr. Seacord in their lives. We will pray for all of his loved ones as they cope with this sadness.
