It is with deep love and sorrow that we announce the passing of Richard Sousa, aged 68, of Renton, WA, who left this world doing what he loved.
Richard was a devoted husband, a proud father, a loving grandfather and a loyal friend. He is survived by his beloved wife, Debra; his four children, Adam (Joni), Richard II, Casey (Kelsey), Remy (Ariel) and his six siblings (Frank, Gerald, Janet, David, John and Cheryl). His memory will live on through his cherished grandchildren; Alyssa, Malia and Lochlan.
His family will remember him for his reliability, his sense of humor, hands that never stopped working to care for others and his deep love for those closest to him.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Luella Sousa and brother Dennis.
A steady hand. A sharp mind. A heart always ready to help.
Richard was the kind of person you could count on. Loyal to the core, endlessly capable, and always willing to lend a hand. If something was broken, he could fix it. If someone needed help, he was already there. And through it all, he never lost his sense of humor.
He built more than homes. He built trust, connection, and a life full of purpose. Always on the move, always thinking, always building something better.
His laughter, his kindness, his way of making people feel grounded will be deeply missed. But those who knew Richard carry his legacy in the way we work, the way we help and the way we love.
Until we meet again...
